Leadership Communication - Stories that Impact
Description
LEADERSHIP COMMUNICATION
STORIES THAT IMPACT: THE ART OF COMMUNICATING WITH PURPOSE AND POWER
Stories have the power to move hearts, change minds, and drive action—but only when told with intention. In Stories That IMPACT, participants learn to use the IMPACT Method to craft and deliver stories that actually make a difference. Whether leading a team meeting, presenting out results, pitching an idea, or driving organizational change, this workshop helps professionals turn everyday messages into memorable, mission-driven stories that resonate and inspire. By exploring their own strengths, values, and communication style, participants deepen self-awareness while also learning to read what matters most to different audiences—so they can adjust tone, emphasis, and detail to better connect. Through examples, interactive practice, and reflection, participants build the skills to communicate with clarity, empathy, and influence—enhancing their ability to show up as authentic leaders and positively shape the perspectives and decisions of others through their stories.
The IMPACT Method is a results-driven storytelling structure for concise 1–2-minute leadership stories. Built around Impact, Map, Priority, Action, Call, and Trajectory, it helps communicators lead with measurable wins, map the starting point, surface the key business priority, spotlight specific actions taken, end with a clear call to next steps, and highlight the transformation achieved. Participants practice tailoring each element of the method—what results to highlight, how much context to give, how bold the “Call” should be—based on who they are speaking to and what will resonate most with that audience. By combining structure with each participant’s own voice, experiences, and language, the method strengthens both authenticity and influence—so they can communicate with credibility, evidence, and momentum, turning routine business updates into persuasive, executive-level stories that move people to action.
