Description
COACHING WITH AI: DEVELOPING PEOPLE WITH HUMAN JUDGMENT AND INTELLIGENT SUPPORT
Coaching is one of the most powerful ways leaders develop people, strengthen performance, and build trust—but it cannot be reduced to a script, a chatbot, or a performance dashboard. In Coaching with AI, leaders learn how to use artificial intelligence as a practical thinking partner to prepare for, strengthen, and reinforce developmental conversations while keeping empathy, accountability, discernment, and relationship at the center. Whether navigating a performance concern, preparing an employee for a new role, supporting someone through change, building confidence, addressing conflict, or creating a development plan, this workshop helps leaders use AI responsibly to coach with greater consistency and impact. Participants learn how to turn everyday leadership moments into meaningful opportunities for growth—using AI to surface patterns, generate possibilities, tailor questions, and create follow-through without outsourcing the human work of leadership.
Through realistic scenarios, guided practice, reflection, and customizable prompts, participants build confidence in knowing when AI can add speed and insight, when it should support their preparation and judgment, and when the conversation must remain entirely human. Leaders leave with a practical, repeatable approach for using AI to develop employees while protecting trust, confidentiality, inclusion, and the authentic connection that makes coaching effective.
The Human-in-the-Loop Decision Filters provide a practical three-part framework for leaders to make thoughtful choices about AI in coaching and development. Built around Augment, Assist, and Never-Automate, the framework helps leaders identify what AI can handle efficiently, where it can help them recognize patterns or prepare more effectively, and which leadership moments require their full human presence and judgment. By combining AI-enabled efficiency with human-centered coaching, leaders learn to spend less time on administrative preparation and more time having the conversations that build capability, ownership, engagement, and results. The framework ensures that AI enhances—not replaces—the leader’s responsibility to know their people, respond to context, and help employees grow.
