Description
Course Description: First Aid, CPR, and AED Training program designed to equip employees with the essential skills and knowledge needed to respond effectively to medical emergencies within the workplace. This course combines hands-on training, interactive learning modules, and real-world scenarios to empower participants to become confident first responders.
Course Objectives:
- Life-Saving Techniques: Participants will learn fundamental first aid techniques, including assessing and managing various medical emergencies such as cardiac arrest, choking, bleeding, and other common injuries.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR): This course emphasizes CPR training, teaching participants how to perform high-quality chest compressions and rescue breaths on adults, children, and infants.
Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Usage: Participants will gain hands-on experience with AED devices, understanding how to operate them correctly and effectively to restore normal heart rhythms in the event of sudden cardiac arrest. - Emergency Response Planning: In addition to the practical skills, participants will learn about the importance of creating and implementing workplace emergency response plans. This includes communication strategies, coordination with emergency services, and evacuation protocols.
Scenario-based Learning: Through immersive scenarios and role-playing exercises, participants will apply their knowledge and skills to simulate real workplace emergencies. This practical experience enhances their ability to stay composed and make informed decisions under pressure. - Legal and Ethical Considerations: Participants will gain an understanding of the legal and ethical aspects related to providing first aid in the workplace. This includes Good Samaritan laws, liability protection, and respecting individuals' privacy and dignity.
- Team Collaboration: Effective emergency response often requires collaboration among team members. Participants will learn how to work together seamlessly, delegate tasks, and communicate clearly during a crisis.
- Certification: Successful completion of the course will result in a First Aid, CPR, and AED Training certification. This certification demonstrates participants' competency in life-saving techniques and their commitment to creating a safer work environment.
