Digital Accessibility - How to Write Meaningful Alternative Text (Consultant Laurie Necasek)
Description
The Center for Learning and Teaching invites you to come and improve your knowledge about digital accessibility. This event will be hosted at OCH AND at LLP in Martin Tech, room 208.
Ensuring digital accessibility is essential for providing equitable opportunities for everyone. Everyone at South Piedmont plays a critical role in creating accessibility to learning environments, regardless of our role. This training equips us with the knowledge and practical skills to design materials that meet accessibility standards. As new ADA Title II regulations approach, public organizations must educate their staff about digital accessibility to meet compliance requirements.
The CLT is organizing courses that will help you:
1. Create Accessible Word Documents-Small Tweaks Make a BIG Impact
2. Practice Tips for Accessible PowerPoint Presentations
3. How to Write Meaningful Alternative Text
4. Social Media Accessibility Made Simple
